Okay so i am looking for a nice first car and I know everyone says your first car should always be a piece of crap, but i act like I am spoiled and i find a way to look spoiled. strange, huh? haha.
Well anyways, I was very interested in a Mercedes Benz ML 320. I found a couple of them near me for sale all around $5000, I like the whole concept of luxury, technology, and midsize SUV all wrapped in to one. So I could probably get one if I wanted but I wanted to check here first just in case there is another vehicle someone else recommends fro me to get. below are my preferences, most important to least important. It doesnt have to have all of these though:
Price range up to $5000
SUV
1999 or newer
Navigation
luxury (or at least feel / look luxurious)
leather
midsize (not too big!)
towing
dvd
thanks to everyone who are answering my question and you will probably be a big influence on my decision 
best bet would be to look for a ford excape, or saturn vue. The problem is with $5000 to work with it will be hard to fill in what your expecting. I think it might be hard to find one with navigation and leather at that price unless it has 100,000+miles on it. I myself would forgo the navigation and leather to look for one with less mileage. Besides you can get a new portable GPS for $100 that will have more updated maps than one that is 10 years old. I would also try to find the old sqaure jeep cherokee. the 4.0L enginge is damn near bullet proof. As for the girl saying you should get an infiniti she has no idea what stuff cost. You will not find anything in your price range hell they start off at $40,000+ new. I would also look at subaru’s all wheel drive and that gives you better options besides just looking at SUV’s.
