		<description>If the plastic touches any hot parts, it could easily melt and mar the finish.  You might be safer doing something else.  If you can safely get into the car, plastic-wrap the steering wheel and/or the gear shift or the cup holders, if he uses them.

Another fun thing to do is to stick Post-It notes (real Post-Its leave less residue than the off brands, generally) all over all the windows.  That&#039;s harmless fun and a grand mess to clean up.  

Filling the car with inflated balloons is fun.  Blow up bunches of the little round ones and fill the interior of the car.
